Why? I love this community. I have lived here for 27 years, in the best neighborhoods with the best neighbors and the best husband. But especially since 2018, I have felt a pull to help create the change our city needs: access to more information, empowering citizen participation, and making sure this city is welcoming to ALL. To that end, I've enthusiastically participated in many WSP meetings and events—it turns out, even those committees and commissions you rarely hear of in the news have a huge impact in how our city looks, feels, and operates. And you can make a huge difference by showing up, asking questions, and being willing to help. And now, I'm ready to take the next step to do more.
I have more than 30 years of professional business and volunteer experience to help make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead for the city of West St. Paul. I'm a problem solver, so while some of the challenges that lie ahead could be daunting—recent economic fallout and public health concerns, for two—I'm not afraid to dive in and figure out a solution. Plus, I'm optimistic our community will persevere together, because I know my neighbors and I believe we deserve the best. And if I don't know you yet? I can't wait for us to meet.
